LO2: Shot List

1. A flashback of the actor and his past girlfriend spending time together at a park; holding hands. We will show this with a white gradient overlay, a soft focus , a suspenseful instrumental and fast jump cuts. At an eye-level angle and a wide shot.
2. A flashback of the actor and his past girlfriend spending time together at a park; laughing together. We will show this with a white gradient overlay, a soft focus , a suspenseful instrumental and fast jump cuts. At an eye-level angle and a close up.
3. A flashback of the actor and his past girlfriend spending time together at a park; walking together. We will show this with a white gradient overlay, a soft focus , a suspenseful instrumental and fast jump cuts. At an eye-level angle and a medium close up.
4. Cuts to the actor sitting on the bed the camera goes into an extreme close-up whilst he's opening his eyes. in in a low angle.
5. Cut to previous shot where it's zoomed out. Actor breathes out a sigh.  (at a low angle.)
6. Cut to actor getting up from bed. Eye-level angle, wide shot.
7. He picks up his phone. Over the shoulder shot.
8. Insert shot of the phone being picked up.
9. Insert shot of him dialling his first friend.
10. Close up of the actor shaking his head and looking disappointed after talking on the phone.
11. Close up of him dialling his second friend.
12. Close up of the actor shaking his head and looking disappointed after talking on the phone.
13. Close up of him dialling his third friend.
14. Close up of the actor smiling and appears to be arraigning the night out. (Shots 9-14 will be in a split screen).
15. (standing up) The actor will look in the mirror and see how he looks. Eye-level angle and a wide shot. The camera will be positioned in the middle of the room.
16. At this same camera spot and angle, (standing up) the actor will sniff to see if he smells and spray himself with lots of deodorant/cologne.
17. From the same camera spot and angle, (standing up) the actor will get dressed into a smart shirt, jeans and smart shoes. This will be done to jump cuts to the beat of the song.
18. Cut to actor leaving the bedroom. As he leaves he picks up
19. Cut to actor going down the stairs, tracking forwards. Over the shoulder shot.
20. Close up of actor picking up his wallet.
21. Close up of him putting wallet in his pocket.
22. Actor goes down the second set of stairs; straight towards the camera. The camera is positioned in the middle of the staircase, still but in a high angle.
23. The camera is behind the actor; now denotes him really close & then he runs down the rest of the stairs and all of his body comes into frame. (into a medium-close-up.)
24. At the bottom of the stairs he grabs his keys. The camera is positioned to the right of the actor. Eye-level angle.
25. Long shot of actor walking out of the door and closing it behind him. Eye-level angle. - Fade into the next shot.
26. Long shot of the actor walking down the busy street (West Street). From behind. Eye-level angle.
27. Medium close up of the actor from the side/behind looking up at the sign of the place he's going to walk into. High angle.
28. Medium close up from the side of the actor turning and walking into the place. High angle.
29. Long shot of the actor walking up to the bar and ordering a drink.
30. Insert shot of him taking out his phone. High angle.
31. Close up of the actor messaging the girl saying "I'm here! Are you close? :)" Low angle.
32. Medium close up from behind of the actor picking up the drink from the bar tenant after paying for it.
33. Actor brings his phone out of his pocket and looks disappointed as the message appears on screen that she can't make it tonight... "I can't make it tonight. Sorry.".
34. Close up of the actors face and him sighing. Eye-level angle.
35. He sits down on a stool, looking depressed. From behind at an eye-level angle.
36. The actor starts to drink the drink that he orders. We will show this from in front of him and at a slight high angle.
37. The glass will be put down on the table after one eighth is gone. We will show this at a slight low angle. This shot will be repeated until all the drink is gone.
38. The glass will be put down on the table after two eighths  is gone. We will show this at a slight low angle.
39. The glass will be put down on the table after three eighths is gone. We will show this at a slight low angle.
40. The glass will be put down on the table after four eighths is gone. We will show this at a slight low angle.
41. The glass will be put down on the table after five eighths is gone. We will show this at a slight low angle.
42. The glass will be put down on the table after six eighths is gone. We will show this at a slight low angle.
43. The glass will be put down on the table after seven eighths is gone. We will show this at a slight low angle.
44. The glass will be put down on the table after all the drink is gone. We will show this at a slight low angle and will have each clip of the glass overlaid on top of each other, one after the other, at different opacity levels.
45. He will then order another drink from the bar. An over the shoulder shot of him asking for the drink.
46. The actor will pick up the drink. We will show this from in front of him at a slight low angle.
47. There will be an overlay of multiple drinks to show how much the actor is consuming. This shot will be at an eye-level angle and the glasses will be slightly out of focus to show the amount of drinks he's having.
48. Close up of the glass being put down on the table by the. We will show this at a high angle.
49. Stop motion of the camera zooming out from the glass to show the actor sitting down at the bar, with the glass next to him.
50. Actor gets up from seat and starts to walk out of the bar. We will show this from the same angle as when the stop motion ends.
51. He is walking out of the bar. Shot from behind with the camera handheld and actor stumble to connote intoxication.
52. The camera is now positioned in front of the actor; showing him going through the bar door. Show in in an eye-level angle whilst tracking backwards.
53. Wide shot of the actor walking down West Street (pan right) from a side view.
54. Action match of previous shot, denoting actor from the front; walking towards the camera looking around and stumbling.
55. As the actor looks around his location, he imagines he sees his ex girlfriend from the flashback. We will show this by following the actors face as he looks around at a high angle.
56. The actor will be running towards 'his girlfriend'. We will show this by a reverse zoom shot at an eye level angle.

2 strengths:
-Variety of shot types make the video entertaining.
-Easy to understand and follow, and there are a lot of interesting locations.

2 improvements:
-Mention the angle of the camera more
-Mention more editing techniques such as transitions, fast cuts etc.

To improve our shot list, we need to:
Add more camera angles and use more editing techniques.
